    Some of you have mentioned that you still enjoy listening to a relaxation clip that was posted a couple of months back. Here’s another one that’s supposed to help with the immune system. It’s tied in to a promotion of  something called “quantum jumping”.

    Interestingly enough, we have someone in our group who is what I would call an expert on quantum jumping!  Sounds intriguing, hopefully we’ll get a little more information during the coming weeks!

    Could a viral infection be a root cause of obesity?

    You’re probably thinking “Yeah, right- the whole pizza I ate last night has nothing to do with this extra weight. It’s a virus, sure it is. ” But remember, we live in a world of illusion. Things are not always as they appear.  So, I repeat the question: could a viral infection be a root cause of obesity?

    No question that alot of stress related to the immune system and/or infection shows up in our weekly sessions. In fact stress related to infection and the  immune system is our focus for the entire week. I initially thought this was because obesity can create weakness in the immune system.     TEA TO THE RESCUE

    This week  relieving stress on the immune system appears to be a priority. No doubt when we feel fatigued, or as if we’re about to come down with the flu, the unconscious may instruct us to bring in some extra calories so we can pile on some  extra  insulation. Doesn’t matter what the conscious says- the unconscious is in control.

    Fortunately we in this group are not dieters, but rather people who believe in the  power of small, consistent changes. For example, just starting to drink a cup or two of tea a day could make a huge difference in not just weight management but overall health and immunity as well.

    SUFFERING FROM ANXIETY?

     The longer you’ve lived on planet earth, the more things that have probably hit your  nervous system. A broken heart, severe family issues-money problems- the list is endless, and they take a toll.

    So, even with the consistent stress management work we’re doing via the biofeedback, you may still have difficulty turning your life around if you’ve been down for a long time.

    Even though I’m not a nutritionist, I can say that I’ve been amazed at the results people have experienced with depression, anxiety, and burn-out when they’ve worked with certian chinese herbs. If you have time this weekend, go to www.google.com and read up, or better yet, check with a nutritionist.

    If you don’t want to do that, stop by a health food store, speak with the manager, and see what he or she recommends. Even teas can be very helpful.

    You have the power to turn your life around, if you choose to do so!
