    Got a number of emails yesterday about the post on adrenals. So many people seem to be suffering from adrenal fatigue, and yet people are, for the most part, totally unaware of what happens to the body when the adrenals begin to run down.  It’s not pretty.

    The adrenals rest right over the kidneys, and work to help us get out of tough situations, i.e. run when we see a threat. We don’t need to physically run too often in this modern age,  but watching the news,  fighting with your spouse, or even opening the mail can evoke the same level of stress. In fact, our adrenals seem to be in a state of what they call “fight or flight”  most of the day just because of the hectic schedule so many of us keep.

    If you’re a member of this group, 5 days a week de-stressing information is being sent to the adrenals. For your part, go to www.google.com and learn what you can do to support your adrenal health. I can’t give you nutritional information, as I’m not a nutritionist.
