Yesterday a friend brought over a plate of Christmas cookies…and it was such a treat I ate 5 or 6. After all, it’s the holiday season! They were delicious!
Not sure if it was worth it, though, because this morning I’m feeling rough. No energy, and aching muscles.
Checked email, and  the very first was from Dr. Jan Dilley in AZ-the suject? Sugar.
That was interesting, because in the Be Thin Within group we work with quantum physics via various forms of energetic technology. The goal is to relieve the stress in the human energy field so that we can create the life we desire, including correct size and shape. One of the things that may happen when the energy field is balanced, or “de-stressed”  is that synchronicity occurs- in other words, when you need something, it appears.
Keeping that in mind, Here’s the information Dr. Jan sent:
“People wonder why they often get colds or the flu over the Holidays. It could be because they’re eating more sugar.
Sugar …
  Accelerates the aging process
 Increases Blood pressure
Suppresses the Immune system  - when your immune system is strong you can fight off bacteria and germs that cause dis-ease
 Reduces the production of antibodies
Generates the production of free radicals
 Can cause insulin resistance
Exacerbates obesity – by increasing the formation of adipose tissue (body fat)
 Promotes tooth decay
 Cancer thrives on sugar
Increases the production of Cholesterol and cortisol.
Build your immune system with belly laughter, more fruits and vegetables, C, E, B vitamins, and minerals… reduce or eliminate sugar this season and see how you feel.. Just make the decision prior to being tempted – do you prefer to feel good, have energy, look good, and enjoy the season, or is it more important to eat the sugar that we are bombarded with?  Good health is your choice…”
So easy to forget how harmful sugar is, especially this season. Now my memory is refreshed, hope yours is too!
Have a blessed & healthy Christmas!!Â
