  • FORMER MONTSANTO EXEC HEADS FDA?

Just learned that a former Montsanto executive, Michael R. Taylor has been appointed HEAD OF THE FDA.   For those who aren’t familiar with  Montanto, they create genetically modified foods and, among other things, are known for destroying the crops of farmers who don’t want their GMO seeds.

Many experts say that GMOs are responsible for massive sickness and death. If that’s true, the person who facilitated this is Michael R. Taylor. Interestingly, his bio left out his decade plus work at Montsanto.

    Now he heads the FDA.

Just recently the FDA said walnuts and cherries can’t say they’re “heart healthy” on their packages…but Ruffles potato chips, which says the same on their bag, is ok.

    Great. I love Ruffles.

FERMENTING FOODS TO HELP LOSE WEIGHT?

Was talking to a friend today who’s  always been a wealth of knowledge when it comes to nutrition. She made a comment that the only way to really lose weight is to eat fermented foods. It seems if the digestive system isn’t working correctly, the body will continue to hold on to fat.

In fact, she’s been preparing fermented food at home and has lost her belly fat!

At first I found the idea kind of repulsive- fermented food? Then I did some google.com searches and saw that some fermented foods are cheese, saurkraut, mead (honey wine) and beer!

I can eat cheese and drink beer if it will help me lose weight. :)

Seriously, there’s some interesting info, check out www.wildfermentation.com or www.healingcrow.com
