  • FERMENTING FOODS TO HELP LOSE WEIGHT?

Was talking to a friend today who’s  always been a wealth of knowledge when it comes to nutrition. She made a comment that the only way to really lose weight is to eat fermented foods. It seems if the digestive system isn’t working correctly, the body will continue to hold on to fat.

In fact, she’s been preparing fermented food at home and has lost her belly fat!

At first I found the idea kind of repulsive- fermented food? Then I did some google.com searches and saw that some fermented foods are cheese, saurkraut, mead (honey wine) and beer!

I can eat cheese and drink beer if it will help me lose weight. :)

Seriously, there’s some interesting info, check out www.wildfermentation.com or www.healingcrow.com

    DEFUSING ANGER

Anger isn’t necessarily bad.  Vibrationally  it’s a step above depression.

Still, it can depress the immune system. It can make you fat if you eat to stifle it.  In fact anger can complicate life in all kinds of ways. Our fields are like magnets. Whatever we resonate with, i.e. anger, prosperity, etc, we attract. Much of this happens on an unconscious level, but today I was more than aware of my emotions!

So  I did some EFT. (emotional freedom technique). This is an easy, do-it-yourself form of acupressure that can work with just about any form of stress you can imagine!  The steps are easy to learn. I had forgotten how effective it is, so am thankful for the reminder from a friend to use it today. I worked on anger, and am back to normal, whatever that is. :)

    HOW’S YOUR DIET GOING?

The only good thing I personally can say about dieting is that it works up a wonderful appetite. Tried plenty of diets over the years. None of them were successful, in fact every time I went on a new eating plan I ended up fatter.

Could be that what causes us to put on excess weight and then be unable to take it off is not just what we’re eating, but also the STRESS in our life. Not just physical stress but emotional as well.

Keeping that in mind, here’s what the biofeedback scan reported this week . Remember, this is a stress scan of our energy field/unconscious mind. We get to learn what could be REALLY stressing us, whether we like it or not. There’s alot of information lurking in our unconscious mind, and biofeedback can inform us about it.

First, we have the stress of being “unaware”. Think about it. How can you correct something if you don’t even know its a problem?

For example, did you know that everytime you eat something with HFCS (high fructose corn syrup)  the liver has no clue what to do with it, so automatically stores it in our fat?

The more HFCS, MSG, etc we consume (and this stuff is in virtually all processed food) the fatter we get, regardless of the calories. In other words, the less whole, organic food we eat, the more stress to our system from chemical toxicity. Processed carbs seem to be the biggest problem.

In fact our affirmation for the week is “I am resistant to toxicity. My body detoxes daily.”

The message is “Excess attachments can block perceptions”.

(Could this mean  we should stop stressing over weight? That maybe we’re too “attached” to what we look like? )

We are also still learning to de-stress our brain chemistry, and this week the neurotransmitter GABA is showing the highest reactivity. Most of us in the Be Thin Within group now have the book “Younger Thinner You ” by Dr. Eric Braverman. In this book he gives further information on the subject of brain chemistry. He states that a fat cell is an aging cell, and educates us as to what foods and spices we can eat to  balance all this out.

(Right now I’m drinking a cup of tea, which he suggests we should do after every meal- it’s a great source of antioxidents.  Am I releasing some fat after I started this habit? Yes!)

As a group we are still working with unconquered anger, false illusions, and trauma.

Energetically, some of us feel hopeless despair in reference to weight.

We’re wanting to develop a sense of healthy priorities, strength, confidence.

There is stress related to PH, or acidity.

You probably know that the American diet is highly acidic. If these acids were released into our system it could actually damage our organs. So, where does it go? The fat layer. Looking at it that way, fat is our friend. It holds all those nasty toxins and acids. Problem is, the accumulated fat is then a big source of stress.  But- and here’s the good news- release the toxins and balance the PH- and the fat goes too!

We registered a great deal of job stress this week. Ever put on alot of weight when work wasn’t going well?

Most stressed organ was the hypothalamus. However we also showed stress related to the thyroid, thymus, and parathyroid.

Most stressed emotion was passivity. Who’s pushing you around? When they do, or when the job is a problem, do you try to de-stress with food? That was the toughest habit for me to break, and I’m still not always successful.

Finally, this week the scan mentioned stress from thanatos. Thanatos is related to an unconscious instinct of self destruction. So here’s a thought- as we develop awareness of what we’re doing to our bodies with our eating habits, and yet refuse to change, is that an unconscious death wish?

Just a thought. Meanwhile, the biofeedback will send remote ”de-stressing” energy/frequency the rest of the week to hopefully balance all this out.

    THIS WEEK’S SCAN

Am posting the Be Thin Within’s weekly stress analysis in hopes that  it might help some others identify reasons that managing their weight has become such a challenge.

The scan is done remotely, via quantum biofeedback. The rest of the week information in the form of frequency is sent to help manage these various forms of stress.

The core focus is stress management, because many experts say that stress, in its various forms, causes weight gain.

    So here goes-

Top source of stress this week is dental.

How could dental stress be related to weight gain? Think about it this way. We are one energetic system comprised of many smaller, conncted, energy fields. If the energy from these fields is focused on balancing out stress related to dental, say an infection, they cannot focus on helping us relieve other stressors, i.e. that extra layer of fat that drives us nuts.

If you’re too tired to floss, etc, at bedtime, do it another time of the day. That is, if you’re really serious about transforming your body size and shape.

On the other hand, if you just don’t want to do even this simple thing, there may be an unconscious resistance to change that has sabataged your life in many areas besides just this one!

(As I type this I am looking at my own unopened dental floss. It’s sitting right beside the computer. I must get back into the habit of taking better care of my own teeth, a hectic schedule threw me out of sync. I seem to be my own best example of this self-sabatage thing.)

We also has “desire stress”. And yes, that can throw us off balance and cause us to put on some weight.

    Most stressed emotion was antagonism.

    Most stressed organ was kidneys.

Our blockage was awareness. That’s actually what biofeedback is all about- the word itself means teach, and without awareness we can’t make changes.

I’ve said to the Universe a few times (like maybe 100) “Just tell me what to do!” Well, biofeedback has the potential of guiding us in the right direction.

We also wanted to stop being self centered and self concerned, and help with decision making, inability to concentrate, indifference, and manipulation of others through victimhood.

We wanted “de-stressing” for being too easily distracted by the needs of others.

Sure, we have to be aware of what we eat. But it is all too evident that diets don’t work. One of the reasons could be that all these other forms of stress make it just about impossible to stick with anything!
