Until then I would like to share another weight loss secret, that may not be much of a secret to some of you!
Fight fatigue and fat with dairy! Yes consuming calcium from low fat or fat free dairy products helps your body break down FAT cells and DECREASE fat storage!!! Especially around our middles! So go ahead and have that fat free latte!
Since I am staying away from coffee, only because I like the fat and sweet kind only! I am having fun making new dairy choices that work for me. If you have never heard of a wonderful yogurt call kefer you might want to try it. In the past I have never like yogurt, except home made but many of us don’t have the time for that, now we have some wonderful alternatives. Kefer is a smoothie yogurt which is perfect alone or added to your favorite smoothie recipe.
My favorite way to enjoy kefer is in a parfait glass(or a bowl if you prefer)-put in 1 cup, add cinnamon and raw honey to taste, two table spoons crushed fax seed, a hand full of blueberries, a table spoon flax seed oil, stir and enjoy!!! If you want to change it up you can add half this mixture to your favorite cereal. Imagine how much anti-oxidants and Omega’s you are getting in this breakfast, you won’t need coffee eating this way! I even started dancing after eating this breakfast!
Have you ever notice how the Europeans tend to have a cheese course with their meals, they know the secret!
The Scandinavians regularly enjoy fermented foods like sauerkraut, pickles and kefir (a type of yogurt), which contain live beneficial bacteria that improve digestion, boost immunity and even fight depression! In fact, a British study found just three weeks of probiotic, which contain these bacteria, improves mood! So your best bet: Have at lease one serving a day of foods containing live active bacteria cultures–they’re in yogurt-I find Greek stlye to be the best, cheeses (Such as Friendship All Nature Digestive Health Cottage Cheese), as well as acidophilus milk or take a probiotic supplement like; Culturelle or Jarrow Formulas.
